Whether used on its own or as an ingredient in a recipe, cheese is a popular food, and a Green Bay area workshop will see those who take part craft their very own fresh mozzarella.
The class will be led by LedgeStone’s Katrina, and she will provide hands-on instruction in making mozzarella from scratch. The students will also receive a set of Copies of recipes they can make at home to share with their friends and family.
As an accompaniment to the cheese, there will an opportunity to sample some of LedgeStone Vineyard’s wines, and each participant will be treated to five tasting pours so they can try a variety of wines. Alternatively, they may choose to opt for a single glass of one of the vineyard’s offerings.
The class has been scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm, and at the end of the session, the attendees can choose to purchase both cheese-making supplies and wine. Recipe Books, cards, and other learning materials for this kind of occasion can be sourced from a printing services provider in the surrounding community.
This opportunity for the public to discover the joys of freshly made cheese paired with local wine will be on offer on July 31 at 6381 State Highway57 in Greenleaf. The registration fee to participate has been set at $35 each.
