Green Bay evening to aid area waterways

Green Bay residents who would like to show some love to Mother Nature can have fun doing so when they attend a fundraising function next month.

The Clean Water Council will be rolling out the red carpet for its Dine and Bid for the Environment soiree. This signature fundraising event is scheduled for the Riverside Ballroom, and the presentation of the group’s Environmental Citizen Award is one of the items on the program for the evening.

The function will open with a cocktail meet-and-greet, and a harpist will be providing the live entertainment. This will be followed by dinner where the menu items will all be gluten free. Individual tickets may be purchased, and tables of six may be booked as well.

Along with the presentation of the organization’s board members and awards, the function will boast a guest speaker and live music performed by Dale Anderson. The silent auction will have Corporate Gifts and other items and experiences on the block, and the attendees can bid on any that catch their eye. Proceeds from this will help the Council to carry on its work in the community.

This signature fundraising evening that will work to protect Green Bay’s waterways is on the local agenda for April 20. The Riverside Ballroom where it will be held is located at 1560 Main Street.
