Green Bay tea fans will soon be able to learn more about this well-loved beverage when they take their seat for a local class exploring black teas.
The attendees in the Tea Tasting: Chinese Black Teas workshop will be learning about this style of tea, including how it is grown and harvested. It will follow the pattern of a traditional Chinese tea service, and Jennifer Nowicki, who is the state's only certified tea specialist, will be the guide for the experience.
The activity will introduce six different black teas from China, as well as one from Thailand. The participants can try them all and compare them, deciding which one they like the best, and can ask questions. The activity will run for approximately one and half hours. There are enough seats for 10 people.
An introductory class gives those who are interested in a particular topic an opportunity to get their feet wet. Print shops can prepare a variety of items for a class where a tasting will take place, including promotional Pens paired with printed Notebooks so participants can jot down any points they wish to remember.
Cultivate Taste Tea Salon will be offering this introduction to Chinese Black Teas during the evening of Tuesday, November 28th. It will begin at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $50 each.
