Fun to take flight during Green Bay bird-themed festival

Each spring, birds leave their winter homes and head north, and Green Bay will be bidding them a warm welcome with an event that will show appreciation to the feathery residents of the community.

Spring’s Wings, which will be hosted by the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, will bring together bird enthusiasts and nature lovers of all ages. An assortment of activities have been planned, and there are offerings for young and the young at heart alike.

Those who come to the festivities will be able to take part in a birding hike, where they will have a chance to learn more about the avian set. Information booths will be set up, and live birds of prey will be on show for the public to meet. The attendees can make a bird feeder and birdhouse, and there will be other fun as well.

Along with the events in Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, there will be other special programming at other Brown County nature preserves. The Bay Beach offerings will be free, and all are welcome. Brochure printing can be used to create pamphlets and other informative material for an occasion like this.

This greeting for the area’s fine feathered friends will be held on May 12. More details about the day can be found on the Green Bay website.
