Expo will educate and entertain seniors

The Senior Expo is taking place in Green Bay in one month’s time.

The event will feature many exhibitors who provide services or products that are helpful for senior citizens. Among organizations already confirmed are those representing seniors’ communities, healthcare, finance and insurance, and the YWCA. Visitors will be entertained with music from the Four Hits and A Miss, and they can try some gentle yoga, learn about exercises for joint movement, or participate in line dancing. There will also be free prize drawings throughout the day.

Expert Mark F. Foran will be on hand to provide appraisals for antiques and collectibles at this event. The cost is $10 per item appraised and those who are interested in participating must register in advance. Contact Heather Ohde at 920-405-1195 for more information.

No doubt many of the exhibitors appearing at the Expo will be handing out free samples or printed information to those who stop by their booths. Green Bay printing companies are often asked to provide promotional materials such as Postcards, Posters, and Pens, as these are items that are inexpensive and always popular with visitors.

The Senior Expo will be held at Shopko Hall on October 7 from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. There is no admission fee and a free shuttle is available from Lambeau Field. To get the latest information about this event, contact Kyle Nooker at 420-405-1134.
