Chamber to run networking session

The Greater Green Bay Chamber of Commerce will host a speed networking session in a few weeks. The event will happen online and is open to any business professionals in the local area.

The Chamber will host the event on Blitzr, a platform built for speed networking. Entrants will be automatically placed in one-on-one sessions with another participant. Each session will last 10 minutes, and entrants can form potential business connections by pitching ideas and exchanging Business Cards.

When the 10 minutes is up, there will be a 30-second break. Then each participant will be matched with a new partner, and the process repeats. The event will end once each person has spoken to 10 different partners. Event organizers recommend bringing a bottle of water to stay hydrated, as the event will take over an hour to complete.

The event will take place on March 18 at 4:30 PM, and the organizers will start with a brief five-minute explanation of Blitzr and how it works. At 4:35, entrants will be matched with their first partner, and the sessions will run until 6:15. The event officially ends at 6:30.

Registration for the event is free, and entrants need to just sign up at www.blitzr.com/event/2278. Chamber membership is not necessary for participation. Those with questions or who need to cancel their registration can send an email to Micky Doyle at mdoyle@greatergb.org.
