Green Bay residents who would like to help provide assistance to some of their four-legged friends in need will soon be able to do so while enjoying some of the area’s craft beer offerings.
This year will mark the Barkin Beer Fest’s second year. According to its planners, it was a sellout last year, and they have planned for it to be even better for 2018.
Guests at the event will be offered a chance to sample craft beers that are produced right in their local area. Stillmank brewing Company, Badger State Brewing, Hinterland Brewery, and Titiletown Brewing are just some of the companies that will be participating, and there will be other activities on the agenda for the day as well.
An assortment of draws, including an even split, have been planned, as have basket raffles. While they enjoy their beer, the attendees can take in the entertainment that will be on site, and food trucks will be offering an assortment of choices for those who would like a bite to eat. A portion of their sales proceeds will be donated to the cause.
The monies raised during this function will be donated to the Green Bay Campus of the Wisconsin Humane Society. The organizers noted that each year, it provides aid to thousands of animals.
