Art Garage prepares for Monica Ramirez exhibition

The Art Garage in Green Bay will host a solo exhibition by Monica Ramirez. It will start next month and run through most of July.

Ramirez is an artist from Chicago who moved to Wisconsin in 2017. She founded the Mona Lucy Gallery in Sturgeon Bay, which displays art and provides custom orders for customers. Versed in different skills and techniques, Ramirez works with oil, watercolor, and acrylic and has been painting since she was young.

This new exhibition from Ramirez, titled “Conceptual Creations,” showcases the artist’s acrylic creations. Working with vibrant colors, Ramirez looks to introduce guests to imaginative textures made possible with acrylic. She will also hold an artist reception sometime during the exhibit’s runtime. The exact date for the reception is yet to be decided.

The garage also offers a virtual option for anyone wanting to survey Ramirez’s work from home. Art Garage will continue to host exhibitions in the future, and organizations running programs like this often promote them with the help of poster printing.

The exhibit officially starts on July 1 and will run until July 25. Entry to both in-person and virtual exhibits is free. The Art Garage is open from Thursdays to Sundays and can be found at 1400 Cedar Street. For specific opening and closing times, the venue’s website has more details.
