A creative competition is brewing in Green Bay next month, providing a platform for area artists to display their skills and finished works to win prizes.
The Tarlton’s Art War Live Painting Competition has a start date in the calendar, providing a unique evening of entertainment for art enthusiasts in and around Green Bay. The live painting competition will be set with a background accompaniment of live jazz music performed by local musicians.
The speed rounds will pit participating painters against each other, and audience members will vote on the winner of each round. The finalists will compete in the championship round to determine who wins the $100 cash prize. The competition will be followed by an auction of the paintings produced during it, offering interested parties a first step toward becoming art collectors. Printing services are an integral way to make Copies of different works to share with friends and family.
Dinner will be available to guests and served after the event venue’s doors open at 6:00 PM. The competition will begin at 7:00 PM, and the full dinner menu and beverages will be available throughout.
The Tarlton Theatre will host the art competition and auction on Friday, February 21, with the doors opening at 5:30 PM. Admission is free, and interested parties can RSVP online.
