Annual luncheon honors area businesses

The Business Recognition Awards Luncheon will be held this June in Green Bay, hosted by the Greater Green Bay Chamber of Commerce.

There are 13 Green Bay businesses that nominated for this year's award. Awards are given out in a number of categories, recognizing such factors as entrepreneurial growth, special accomplishments, and environmental contribution.

In addition, there is set to be a business showcase that will allow chamber member businesses the opportunity to introduce themselves to the community and to their peers. After lunch, there will also be a dessert reception for those left with a sweet tooth.

This will be an important networking opportunity for both chamber members and nonmembers. There will be lots of chances for attendees to discuss business and to exchange cards. No doubt most of the business leaders who plan to attend this upcoming event will be contacting their regular Green Bay printing company to place a new business card printing order.

The Business Recognition Awards Luncheon is being held at the KI Convention Center on June 4 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Tickets are $27 for Greater Green Bay Chamber of Commerce members and $37 for nonmembers until tomorrow, May 15, or $37 and $47 after. Tables for 10 are also available.
