CORBA will host its “Take a Kid Mountain Biking” event next month. Anyone is welcome to join, and no prior experience of mountain biking is required.
CORBA is an organization of volunteers that brings trail-based events to the Chippewa Valley, also helping to build and improve trails in the valley. “Take a Kid Mountain Biking” is one of the various trail-based events CORBA hosts throughout the year.
Activities at the event will include group rides separated based on skill level, skill tests, and obstacle challenges. Parents are also encouraged to accompany their children and enjoy the event.
Entrants will have to bring their own and helmets.
Capacity will also be limited to around 150 children so that CORBA can plan accordingly. Each child will also receive a free lunch and snacks during the event. The organizers will conduct a giveaway where entrants have a chance to win Promotional Products and other goods.
The event will take place on June 5 between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Registration is free and can be completed on the event’s webpage. The event venue is the Eau Claire Expo Center, which is located at 5530 Fairview Drive.
Anyone looking to help can join other volunteers on the day of the event. Volunteers can register their hours and have a chance to win $2,500 to shop for bike equipment.
