Eau Claire foodies to be treated to truck rallies

Here in Eau Claire, the summer season will see the public treated to a series of food-filled celebrations.

The area's community of mobile food service vendors, also known as food trucks, will be rolling into Phoenix Park just in time to serve lunch, remaining on site until the early evening. Both Menomonie Market Food Co-op and the Royal Credit Union have provided financial support to these occasions.

The rallies are scheduled to take place once a month throughout over the next three months, with an extensive list of food trucks signed up. There will be benches available, but those who plan on purchasing a meal or snack are also welcome to bring a blanket so they can relax on the grass. Everything from appetizers to desserts and even full meals will be available for purchase.

A food truck rally can really grab the public’s attention. Owners of these mobile eateries can ensure theirs is in top shape for an event by visiting a local printing services company, as it will be able to design and install custom vehicle wraps.

The July installment of Food Truck Friday has been scheduled for July 7. It will return on August 4 and September 8. A list of the food trucks, as well as other information, is available on the AllEvents.com listing.
