An event has been planned for Eau Claire rockhounds, and it will be filled with a wide variety of rocks, minerals and other related items.
This April will see the 58th Chippewa Valley Gem and Mineral Society (CVGMS) host its 58th annual Show and Sale, which will be an indoor event. It tends to attract a wide variety of vendors from throughout the Midwest, and with two days to choose from, its organizers are hoping it will fit in well with everyone’s springtime plans.
The function will be held in the Eau Claire County Expo Center, and rocks, jewellery, petrified wood, and many other items will be in the mix. A display of fluorescent minerals has been planned, and anyone who would like to purchase some Lake Superior agates will be able to do so. The kids can enjoy some hands-on learning, and every 15 minutes, a new item will go up for bids in the silent auction.
Those who are interested in attending the celebration will be able to do so free of charge. A poster printing company will have an assortment of ways to market an expo or other large event affordably.
The show and sale will begin on April 23 and continue on until April 24. Its Facebook page offers information about its timing and other details.
