An event that will take an ordinary hat and transform it into something special will soon be welcoming stakeholders, and those who call Eau Claire home are welcome to join the fun.
A hat-making bar has been organized for Leinie Lodge in Chippewa Falls, and it will allow everyone in attendance to release their inner fashionista. Check-in will begin half an hour ahead of its start time so that everyone can order their drinks and get settled, and after that it will be time to start creating their own chapeau to take home.
Attendees will be walked through the basics of making their hat, and the materials, including embellishments, will be supplied. It will be a social experience where everyone can chat and get to know their fellow hat fans. Each participant will receive one hat as well as one band, one accessory, and one charm. Additional decor may be purchased if desired. When they reserve their pass, attendees will be asked to indicate their band size and preferred color of hat.
A crafting class like this gives the public a chance to learn something new and have fun doing so. A flyer printing company will be able to help keep the public informed about activities on offer for them.
This introduction to the art of making a hat will begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 17. Leinie Lodge is located at 124 East Elm Street Chippewa Falls.
