Chippewa Valley home show comes to Eau Claire

The Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association will be holding its 42nd annual Home & Garden Show. For the first time, the show will be held at the Chippewa Valley Expo Centre in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

The new venue is designed to accommodate a greater number of vendors. The association has advertised over 120 different visitors offering various home-and-garden products, with vendor tables sold out.

The first day of the expo will be “senior day”, featuring discounted tickets for attendees 55 and older, while the night will be a “date night” featuring live music by Adrian Klenz and beer and wine tasting. Saturday will be “demonstration day”, focusing on a variety of educational seminars with topics ranging from vinyl floor installation to cleaning with essential oils. Finally, Sunday will be “family day”, with activities aimed at igniting kids’ love of building.

All three days will see a “scavenger hunt” in which attendees search for images throughout the show floor, with a prize of $250. Shows like this can be a big opportunity for hardware and other businesses of all sizes, often using banner printing, Promotional Products, and special sales to draw attention towards them and away from their competitors. Vendors include The Natural Touch Landscaping & Supply, Brooks Home Renovations, and Gorilla Dumpster Bag.

The 2019 edition of the Home & Garden Show will take place from February 21 to 23.
