Eau Claire will host the Blue Ox Musical Festival in August. The festival was founded in 2015 to celebrate and support a “bluegrass and Americana music experience.”
For this year’s festival, organizers have gathered 35 different artists to perform their music. Guests can expect performances from creative talent like the Sam Bush Band, the Shakey Graves, Molly Tuttle, and many others.
Besides musical performances, guests can partake in workshops and other activities. The festival will include a wellness tent with yoga, reiki, and other meditative practices. There will be instrument workshops where guests can learn about bluegrass and Americana music. Vendors will also sell food and beverages for anyone looking for something to eat or drink.
The venue will have designated camps for guests looking to stay at the festival overnight. Those interested can either reserve a spot or look for one during the event at unreserved campsites. Events like these usually utilize banner printing to help guide guests towards campsites at the venue.
The festival will take place between August 19 and 21. Tickets can be bought off the event’s official website for any of the three days. Children under the age of 13 may attend free of charge if accompanied by an adult. The venue for the event is the Whispering Pines Campground at 5024 Crescent Avenue.
