The 2nd annual Seattle Art Fair is taking place next month in the city.
The fair will feature art works from several galleries from around the world. This year, some of the featured galleries are from Seattle, New York, Buenos Aires, and Tokyo. Much of the artworks will be available for purchase; last year’s fair attracted over 15,000 visitors.
The event will start off with a preview evening. The first part of the evening is a Beneficiary Preview that will raise funds for the Seattle Art Museum. Tickets are $250 and it will take place from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. This will be followed by the opening night preview from 8:30 to 11:00 PM, tickets cost $50.
There will also be several art installations around town, talks from artists such as Sharon Johnston, Kyle MacLachlen, and Anne Ellegood, and tours of Pioneer Square and the International District.
Seattle residents may find out about this upcoming event through mailed Invitations that are often provided by local printing companies.
The Seattle Art Fair will be held at the CenturyLink Field Event Center from August 4 to 7. Tickets are $20 per day for adults and $5 for children between the ages of 13 and 19, and a full pass is available for $50. Call 212-518-6912 for more information.
