A pair of events take place next month that should appeal to lots of people in Seattle.
The first one is the Georgetown Carnival that is presented by the Georgetown Merchants Association. It is set to feature visual art exhibits, musical entertainment, and vendors. There will also be carnival rides and games, food trucks, and a beer garden. For more updated information as it becomes available, visit the official event website.
Next up is the Festival Sundiata hosted by the Sundiata African American Cultural Association. It will feature vendors selling merchandise and food, or providing information about local corporations and government agencies. Spaces are still available for $275 for merchandisers, $375 for food, and $400 for government or corporations.
The event will start off with an artists’ reception on June 10 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Guests will enjoy music, wine, appetizers, spoken word poetry, and an art round table. The festival itself is set to feature workshops, discussion,s and an exhibit from the American History Traveling Museum.
Both of these events will likely be widely advertised in Seattle, with Flyers or Posters that will be displayed at public venues.
The Georgetown Carnival will be held in Georgetown on June 11 from 12:00 - 10:00 PM.
