Session planned for Seattles tea lovers
Participants in a Seattle workshop will be offered an opportunity to learn how to create their own custom blend of a beloved beverage.
Tea lovers who take part in the upcoming workshop will find out how they can create their own unique mixture of tea leaves. It will be an interactive event.
The session will open with a discussion of the ingredients, and everyone will learn how to utilize flavor wheels. The chemistry of tea will be reviewed, and after this, the attendees will be invited to put their newfound knowledge to work by preparing their own special blend. They will be able to take this home with them.
As the activity is scheduled for June, the focus will be on light party-style teas that include glitter, color changing flowers, and other novel ingredients.
Tickets for the class are $50 and may be purchased in advance. Small promotional products such as tea strainers, spoons, and recipe cards for a workshop can be crafted by a professional print shop.
This introduction to the fun of preparing a custom-blended tea will begin at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 10. Tea shop owner Friday Elliott will be the facilitator for the occasion, which will be taking place at 4228 Stone Way in North Seattle.
