Each summer, Seattle offers the public the chance to be part of the community outdoor movie experience, and it will be bringing this activity back in 2024.
Dubbed “Movies at the Mural,” the function will be held at Seattle Center. No admission fee will be charged to those who would like to attend. The films will be either contemporary or classic, and all will be family friendly.
On each of its scheduled dates, the function will open with a short film prepared by students attending the Cornish College for the Arts. The movies will be shown on a 40-foot screen, and everyone can bring portable seating so they can sit back and relax.
The curtain will go up at dusk, and the Mural Amphitheatre lawn will be open for anyone who would like to bring a picnic while they take in the movie. Alternatively, food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Captioning will be provided, and anyone who requires an assisted listening device is invited to request one.
Many communities host outdoor movie nights, and these activities are often quite popular. Flyer printing can be a great way to help event organizers advertise the upcoming occasion.
The lineup of movies that will be shown during the August series will be released to the public in May. Additional details are available on the Seattle Center website.
