This fall, the Seattle Restaurant Week returns. For a limited time, a number of restaurants in the Seattle area will be offering special fixed-price menu options for patrons to enjoy.
Seattle Restaurant Week, or SRW, has been a recurring event for a while. The entire purpose of it is to allow people to try new restaurants and styles of food for a fixed price.
There are two options: lunch and dinner. All the restaurants offer the dinner option, which is a three-course meal for $33. Plenty of restaurants also offer the lunch option of a two-course meal for $18. The dinner option is a deal – the meal would normally cost at least $40 – and is only available Sunday through Thursday, and does not count on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday brunch.
There is at least one vegetarian option per course. Although the standard format is to offer choice of a starter, entrée, and dessert, not all restaurants follow this. Reservations are not required, but are encouraged.
There are over 165 restaurants participating in this year’s SRW. Due to the large number of restaurants, they are spread out across Seattle. Checking for parking before visiting a restaurant is recommended.
Events like this often make use of printing services. Many restaurants have Business Cards on hand, and some may have takeaway Flyers with information on the event, their menu items, and offerings for the event.
The event starts on Sunday, October 21, and goes through Thursday, November 8.
