Seattle needle queens and kings who enjoy making garments of their own have been invited to show off their talents to other area crafters.
Area sewists will be gathering in Seattle at the end of September for an event that will give them a chance to show off their favorite creations while enjoying the company of other needle crafters. The Century Ballroom has been booked for the evening, and it is anticipated that ticketholders will be coming in from all across the Pacific Northwest.
Everyone who attends the function is asked to wear their favorite clothing they have sewn themselves, and all styles, from comfy and cozy to formalwear, are welcome. They can prepare something new or sport an outfit they have worked on in the past.
The Century Ballroom is a new venue for the function this year. Located at 915 East Pine Street, it is accessible to those who require a mobility device, and each ticketholder will be treated to admission, a raffle ticket, one drink ticket, light bites, access to a photobooth, and a swag bag filled with Corporate Gifts. The event is limited to those age 21 and up.
This celebration of Seattle sewists and the clothing they create is scheduled for Friday, September 22. Its doors will open at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $55 each.
