Seattle set to celebrate starlings
Seattle families on the hunt for some winter fun they can enjoy together may want to reserve their space at a local event that will be on offer at the end of January.
Both members and non-members alike are invited to be part of the Family Day that will be co-hosted by Birds Connect Seattle and the National Nordic Museum. It will be all about starlings and the other birds often spotted in urban areas, and there will be hands-on fun included.
Starlings are an introduced species to Seattle, and they have made the city their own. The activity will provide the participants with information about their life cycle and ecology, and facts about other city birds will be presented as well. Everyone will have the opportunity to make a craft project to take home with them when they leave, and all ages are welcome to attend.
Learning can take place in many environments besides the classroom, and those hosting an educational event like this can order custom designed materials from area print shops. They will be able to work closely with their customers, keeping their budget and needs in mind, and will have a full line of products and services available for purchase.
This family friendly introduction to Seattleās feathered friends is on the way for January 28th. The Family Day is set to get started at 10:00am.
