Seattle set to celebrate spring

Daffodils are considered by many to be a sure sign of spring, and a Seattle celebration will showcase these much-loved flowers.

This coming March, Pike Place Market will be hosting its 27th annual Daffodil Day, which helps the community to celebrate the beginning of spring. While daffodils are often thought of predominantly as yellow flowers, they come in a range of other hues as well, and these will all be on full display during the event.

On the day of the celebration, the market will be distributing free bundles of daffodils for as long as supplies last. While the crowd admires the flowers, they will be provided with information about the farmers who grew them, and how they play an important role in the area’s agricultural sector.

The organizers of the activity explained that all of the flowers sold at the market are grown in the Seattle area, and many of the farms have been supplying them for decades. A poster printing company can prepare a variety of materials that help to build public interest in an upcoming event, which can play a role in ensuring it will be well attended.

Daffodil Day will once again be offering spring a warm welcome in Seattle on Tuesday, March 19, starting from 11am. More information about the event can be found on the Pike Place Market website.
