Seattle market set to salute local glass artists

Seattle boasts a vibrant community of artisans and other markets, and those who work with glass will be putting their talents in the spotlight during a special upcoming event.

The Glass Artist Showcase, which will feature Pike Place Market’s glass makers, will include pieces prepared by those who work with fused glass, as well as glass blowers and flame workers. A wide variety of vendors will be on hand, and the shoppers can meet them and learn how they craft their pieces.

People at the function will be able to show some love to local artisans, and many of the available for purchase will be one of a kind. The market will be open for five hours, and as there will be other makers on site as well, it will offer a one-stop shopping experience for anyone hoping to get their holiday gift buying done well ahead of time.

The listing prepared for the showcase explains that each member of the public will relieve an event map so they can easily navigate their way through the market. Letterheads, Business Cards, and other custom Print jobs for an event can be performed by an area printer.

The Glass Artist Showcase is scheduled to be held at Pike Place Market on October 16. The day will run from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
