Ice cream fans can get ready to rejoice, as a Seattle festival will be serving up icy treats as part of a fundraiser for Food Lifeline.
Each year, Food Lifeline helps to meet the expenses incurred by the state's 300 or more food banks, and it is hoping its All You Can Eat Ice Cream Festival will be a huge success. Anyone who would like to purchase some alcoholic drinks during the event will be able to do so if they wish, and food will be available as well.
Along with more than 60 different flavors of ice cream, guests at the function will be invited to enjoy some of the favorite fare from the food trucks on site. An ice cream eating contest and entertainment are both on the agenda, and the vegans and dairy-free individuals in the crowd will have eating options for them.
A large gathering like this often calls for equally festive decor. A banner printing company will have a range to choose from, and its graphic design team can create a special look just for the occasion.
This festival planned with frozen treat lovers in mind will help to keep food banks shelves full, and it has been scheduled for the evening of Friday, August 20. The Seattle Center will provide space for the celebration.
