The Emerald City Comic Con is taking place next month in Seattle for four days.
The convention is dedicated to comic Books, science fiction movies and television and writing. This is a very popular event in the city and four-day passes have already sold out.
This year’s special guests include David Tennant and Billie Piper from ‘Doctor Who’, author Terry Brooks (‘The World of Shannara’) and actors Christopher Lloyd (‘Back to the Future’) and Summer Glau (‘Firefly’). In addition, there will be many comic book artists and writers in attendance. There will also be autograph signings and photograph sessions with many of the guests for an extra cost.
There will be panel discussions, screenings, cosplay competitions, and the League of Libations beer garden. There will be a special Writer’s Block with panels and book signings, and the Musicallery with talks, jam sessions, and performances by artists such as Kirby Krackle and the PDX Broadsides.
A Seattle poster printing company may have been asked to provide Posters to be distributed in the community and spread the word.
The Emerald City Comic Con will be held at the Washington State Convention Center from March 1 to 4. Tickets are $30 for Thursday and $40 for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, although Saturday has already sold out. Visit the official event website for the most up-to-date information.
