Seattle class to craft tasty teas

Tea is a beverage that has been enjoyed for centuries, and a Seattle session will give fans of the drink the opportunity to learn how to craft their own custom blend.

Friday Afternoon Tea has set the date for its Tea Blending Workshop, and it will be led by the shop’s owner. It has a runtime of two hours, and everyone will be able to take home a sample of their creation.

The activity is scheduled for mid-September, and it will have an equinox theme. It will introduce both flavor theory and the science of tea, and will begin with a discussion of the ingredients, including the use of flavor wheels and the chemistry of this popular beverage. After this, it will be time for the learners to get some hands-on experience creating their own unique blend. In keeping with its theme, attendees will be encouraged to use a balance of dark and light flavors.

Many people enjoy the chance to make some new discoveries, and doing so in workshops includes the fun joined others who share their interest. A flyer printing company will be able to offer a variety of ways to let a community know about upcoming activities that may be of interest to them.

Friday Afternoon Tea will be offering this introduction to the many tastes of tea on Tuesday, September 17. It will run from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at 4228 Stone Way.
