Seattle doll enthusiasts have been offered an opportunity to attend an event that will help them to add to their own personal collection while meeting others who share their love of the hobby.
The city will be the venue for the World Doll Day Show, which will be both all-inclusive and family friendly. Admission at the door will be $10, and the venue offers free parking.
The function will be filled with collectible dolls along with lots of other vintage toys, and teddy bears and other “stuffies” will be included as well. Related accessories will also be on offer, and there will be booths where the attendees can have their own items identified and valued. A raffle draw has been scheduled, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to an area charitable cause.
A show may attract both serious and “hobby style” collectors alike, as well as those who are interested in purchasing pieces to resell for a profit. A poster printing company will be able to offer ways of ensuring as many as possible know about an upcoming local activity.
Seattle will be playing host to this World Doll Day Show on Saturday, May 13. It will run from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and space at the DoubleTree by Hilton Southcenter has been booked for the occasion.
