Seattle celebrates spring with return of Flower Festival

Seattle will be heading into a new season with an activity that will celebrate the floral beauty that often goes hand in hand with spring’s arrival.

Pike Place Market will be giving local farmers and horticultural operations some time in the sun with its 17th annual Flower Festival. It has been planned for Mother's Day weekend, and it will welcome the public for two days.

People who drop by will be immersed in a huge variety of freshly cut flowers and other plants, and at least 30 flower farms will be on the roster. Spring blossoms such as tulips, daffodils, and narcissus will be in the mix, and peonies will also be available. There will also be handmade crafts on offer. The rest of the market will be open to the shoppers as well, perhaps offering ideas for a gift for mom, or simply a chance for her to enjoy some retail therapy.

Many businesses host Mother's Day themed events, and they may choose to order Promotional Products, gift cards, or other premiums to distribute to these hardworking women. There is a variety of options available, and they can often be prepared at short notice.

The 17th annual Pike Place Market Flower festival will open spring for Seattle on Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11. Both days will run from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
