Seattle celebrates beer and bacon
The Beer and Bacon Classic visits Seattle for the sixth annual festival in two weeks. The event features craft breweries, dishes from local chefs, music, games, and more.
T-Mobile Park will be hosting the festival again. This year, it will take up room on the outfield as well as the concourse for the first time. There will be over 20 local restaurants participating in this event, ranging from coffee shops and hot sauce companies, to delis and sweet shops. Bacon will be the star of this side of the festival – over 30 dishes will be prepared for this event.
There will also be craft breweries attending, allowing attendees to sample their wares. More than 40 breweries will be at the festival. Attendees will be able to fill up as many times as they like during their ticketed slot.
All ticket holders must be 21 or older to attend this event. Attendees will be able to eat as many dishes as they like, and will also be given a souvenir cup. There will be games throughout the event, as well as music. There are three tiers of tickets available: general admission, power hour, and VIP. Power hour and VIP gain entry an hour early, and VIP ticket holders will have access to private bathrooms, a lounge area, and an opportunity to walk the bases.
As there will be many different companies represented at this event, it is likely that several will have business cards or other printed literature to hand out to interested people. The event will be held on Saturday, May 4.
