Whether they are hoping to find an unusual plant or want to fill their garden without breaking their budget, a Seattle area event will have plenty to offer area green thumbs next month.
The Northwest Perennial Alliance (NAPA) offers an assortment of programming throughout the year, and one of its events that is often highly anticipated is its annual end-of-summer sale. Many plants can successfully be planted throughout the autumn months, and this event will bring together a wide selection of local vendors.
The shoppers at the market will be able to browse to their hearts’ content, and ferns, shrubs, perennials and ornamental grasses are just some of what they can expect to find. Many of the cultivars will be rare and not always available in the trade, and anyone who is on the hunt for some new and unusual additions to their beds may want to arrive early in the day to avoid missing out.
The organizers of the day explained that volunteers are needed to help make it a success. Name tags, T-Shirts, lanyards, and other Corporate Gifts for this type of function may all be obtained from area Print shops.
The NPA Plant Sale will help to wrap up the 2021 horticultural calendar on September 5 at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. The gate will open at 10:00 am, and advance registration is not required.
