Salmon festival showcases a staple food of the West Coast

SalmonFest Seattle is taking place for three days next month.

The event will consist of a street festival, a salmon break and a couple of parades.

The street festival will have a car show, a beer garden featuring local brews and live entertainment on the main stage. A kids’ area is set to feature games and activities to entertain the smallest visitors. Vendors of all kinds will have booths set up on the street to sell arts and crafts, food and general merchandise; several non-profit community organizations will also be on hand to provide information about their programs.

The Lake City Pioneer Days Grand Parade will take place on August 5 at 7:00 PM. It is a presentation of the Rotary Club of Seattle and the Lake City Western Vigilantes. It will feature marchers, floats and special guests. The parade will be preceded by a Kids’ Parade at 6:00 PM.

The Salmon Bake will take place each day of the festival from 12:00 PM at the Lake City Community Center. Food will be prepared by Chef Michael White.

No doubt this event will attract a lot of Seattle residents for a weekend of fun. To spread the word in the community, organizers often invest in marketing materials such as Brochures.
