The 46th annual Bumbershoot arts festival is taking place over three days in Seattle next month. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Center for Infectious Disease Research.
The festival features theater, comedy, seminars, visual arts, and music. Some of the musical acts that have been confirmed for this year’s festival include Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Death Cab for Cutie, Billy Idol, Third Eye Blind, Pony Time, and The Blind Boys of Alabama. There will also be comedy from The Improvised Shakespeare Company, talks from the Seattle Review of Books, and the Reign Supreme Breakin’ competition.
Arts and crafts vendors will be on hand to sell their handmade, unique items such as jewelry, prints, and clothing. There is also set to be a food market featuring local chefs. Other activities will include a space yacht after-party and street performers.
Several ticket options are available. The Emerald three-day pass, which costs $775, includes a private lounge, free food and drink, and official merchandise, such as a poster, T-shirt and tote bag.
To advertise events like these, Seattle poster printing firms are often asked to provide the official poster.
Bumbershoot will take place at the Seattle Center from September 2 to 4. A general admission three-day pass is $225 and a gold pass is $450. To get the most up-to-date information about this event, visit the official website.
