Popular boat show returns this January

The Seattle Boat Show: Indoors + Afloat is taking place in the city for 10 days, starting in just over a month’s time.

This event attracts those interested in boating and fishing from all over the area. There are expected to be hundreds of new boats for sale and on display, and there will also be a chance to pick up boating accessories. In addition, there are set to be 225 boating and fishing seminars, all of which are free to attend.

The show is divided between CenturyLink Field and South Lake Union, with boats for sale being displayed at South Lake. A free shuttle bus will travel between both sites every 30 minutes.

There are two special events happening during the show: ‘Uncorked’ will take place on the opening night and will allow guests to taste several Washington wines while viewing the show. The next week, ‘Sails and Ales’ will offer craft beer tastings. Each event takes place from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Tickets, available at $27 each, include a free souvenir glass and six tasting tokens.

Seattle poster printing companies often provide the advertising materials to let the community know about these types of upcoming events.

The Seattle Boat Show is being held from January 23 to February 1. Tickets are $12, or $5 for children between the age of 11 and 17.
