Introductory woodworking workshop on offer in Seattle

On offer just in time for Father’s Day, a Seattle event will see members of the public craft a special keepsake to give to dad or someone else special to them.

Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has made plans to offer an entry level class that will use a hands-on project to teach some basic woodworking skills. The group will design, cut, route, and assemble a sturdy garden storage caddy and stool, and all of the supplies will be provided.

This activity, which is intended for those ages 18 and up, will offer full instruction, and everyone will be able to get some practice using the various power and hand tools. Safety glasses will be issued, and the facilitator will walk everyone through the activity, answering any questions they come up. Tickets for the occasion are $75 each, and the session will run for three hours.

Woodworking allows people to create items as attractive as they are functional. Registration forms, letterheads, and other documents for a company that hosts a learning activities may be ordered from a printer.

Rockler Woodworking and Hardware, which is located in Seattle at 832 North East Northgate Way, will be offering this introductory level class on Friday, June 10. Everyone who signs up to participate is asked to arrive by no later than 2:00 pm so it can begin on time.
