The 38th annual Festival of Trees is taking place in Seattle beginning this month. This event is a fundraiser for Seattle's Children's Hospital.
A collection of 21 designer Christmas trees will be on display and will be free for viewing. People can sponsor a tree, donate ornaments, or purchase a tree for $4,000. In addition, one tree will be awarded as a raffle prizes.
There are several events taking place in relationship to the festival. The Gala Dinner will include live and silent auctions and a cocktail reception. The emcee for this evening will be Margaret Larson. Tickets are $175 per person or $200 for a sponsor, and tables of 10 are also available.
The next day is the Festival of Trees Celebration, aimed mostly at children. Entertainment will be provided by the St. Jude Parish Sanctuary Choir and there will be Christmas story telling. There will also be a boutique with items that children can afford to purchase. Children can also visit the Teddy Bear Suite.
To ensure as many people in Seattle know about this yearly event, organizers likely work with local Print companies to produce Invitations and advertising Flyers.
The Festival of Trees will take place at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel from November 21 until December 2.
