Holiday celebrations continue in Seattle

The West Seattle Hometown Holidays celebration is continuing until the third Saturday of this month, and is a presentation of The Junction.

While some events have passed, there are plenty to look forward to. The Holiday Farmers Market will be held on three separate days. Visitors can purchase local produce, arts and crafts, and general merchandise. They can also visit Santa's House. The market is also featuring virtual shopping on two separate Fridays; purchasers can pick items up curbside or have them delivered.

There is free gift-wrapping provided by several stores, and a coat drive is taking place for the West Seattle Food Bank Clothesline. There is also caroling on December 15.

The last day of the celebration will feature Seattle Luminaries. The public can pick up their paper lanterns from several businesses for free, featuring a LED candle. Beginning at 7:00 PM, the luminaries will be paraded through the streets, with a musical provided.

Seattle residents are no doubt ready to celebrate the holidays and local banner printing services may provide signage to organizers and vendors.

The holiday celebration will be taking place until December 19. The market will be held this Friday, December 11, and again on December 18 and 20. Admission is free of charge. For more information about all the planned events, contact The Junction West Seattle at 206-935-0904.
