Festival welcomes the summer to Seattle

The 34th annual West Seattle Summer Fest is taking place next month for three days.

The festival will take place in The Junction and has lots of activities to appeal to everyone in the family. There will be musical entertainment from artists such as

Grace Love and the True Loves, Pillar Point, Dreamhouse, and Danny Newcomb and the Sugar Makers.

The community tent will feature information from local non-profit and community groups. Organizers are still taking applications from community organizations until June 17.

There will also be a kids’ area with arts and crafts activities, rides and performances by Clowns Unlimited. Vendors will be on hand to sell handmade arts and crafts and food.

In addition, the Greenlife Expo is set to feature demonstrations and a showcase of environmentally friendly products. It will also provide information to the public on how to live a sustainable lifestyle.

This free annual event usually attracts approximately 20,000 visitors. In order to spread the word of the festival in Seattle, organizers may distribute Flyers or Brochures that will be provided by local Stationery printers.

The West Seattle Summer Fest will take place at The Junction from July 8 to 10. Admission is free of charge. To find out more about this event or to sign up for a community booth, contact Monumental Undertaking at 206-228-8193.
