Convention celebrates myths and mythology

The MythicWorlds Convention and Masquerades is taking place in Seattle for three days next month.

Aimed at fans of mythical world, fantasy, and costuming, there will be plenty of activities that should appeal to fans of all ages. Vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of merchandise such as costumes, Books, and movies. There will be classes, workshops and special appearances by artists and authors. Among those guests confirmed for this year's convention are Allen Williams, Wylie Becket, Lou Anders, and Cynthia Sheppard.

Two masquerades will be held during the event. The Time Traveler's Masquerade will take place on February 5 and will feature the music of Abney Park. The Dark Carnevale Masquerade on February 6 will have entertainment provided by Qntal. Tickets for each ball are $35 each.

Fans from all over Seattle and the surrounding areas are sure to flock to this event. To ensure as many people know about it as possible, local poster printing companies may have been asked to provide marketing materials.

The MythicWorlds Convention and Masquerades will be held at Seatac Double Tree Hilton from February 5 to 7. A three-day pass, which will include the masquerades and all programming, is $95 or $395 for four people, while an exhibit pass is $40.
