Climb aboard with the pirates in Seattle
On Saturday, July 7, the 2012 Seattle Seafair Pirates Landing will take place at Alki Bathhouse Studio located at 1702 Alki Avenue SW in Seattle, Washington. This event will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
This event is sponsored by the CenturyLink, KSTW-CW11 radio station, 94.1 KMPS radio station, and The Seattle Seafair Pirates. This year marks the 63rd anniversary of the annual Pirates Landing on the Alki Beach in this community.
This is a great, fun-filled family event and there will be something for the entire family. At this festive fun-day, there will be great music provided by the groups Texas Flood, Wages of Sin, and Full Metal Jacket. There will also be a wide assortment of traditional and delicious foods. This event provides residents of this community with the opportunity to get personal and up-close with the personalities on the Seattle Seafair Pirates.
Children of all ages will be kept entertained, while adults will enjoy some great food, great music, and some great refreshments, all while watching the kids play and have fun. The reenactment of the pirates landing will be especially exciting. This group appears at more than 40 events each year, after its original founding back in 1949. It was formed to promote Seattle and serve the community with fun and festivities.
