The 19th annual Arts in Nature Festival is taking place this month for two days. It is a presentation of the Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association.
The theme for this year is ‘Convergence’. The festival will feature arts and crafts, music, dance, and a variety of workshops. Food and drink will be available for purchase. There will also be 10 merchants on hand to sell quality materials.
Musical entertainment will be provided by such artists as Kristin Allen Zito, Hear Me Roar, Erika Lundahl ,and the Total Experience Gospel Choir. Live art demonstrations will be provided by Roach the Muralist and guests can enjoy Art Making with Natalie Fobes. There will also be interactive art projects and a puppet center.
Guests can also enjoy a demonstration and workshop on Capoeira (a Brazilian martial art), take a clogging workshop or attend a community dance.
VIP tickets for two days cost $50 but include a pass for one youth to attend too. Ticket holders will receive a gift and will have access to a Lodge Lounge special event.
Participating merchants may purchase signage or Banners from Seattle Print shops to bring attention to their booths.
The Arts in Nature Festival will be held at Camp Long from August 25 to 26. Tickets for adults are $16 for two days or $10 for one; for students over 18 and seniors, tickets are $12 or $8 and for children between the ages of 10 and 17 tickets cost $8 or $5. Call 206-923-0917 to learn more.
