The Festa Italiana Seattle is taking place next month for two days.
The event will be kicked off the week before with the 27th Festa Luncheon at the Seattle Yacht Club. It is set to feature a keynote speaker and the awarding of the Gill Centioli Memorial Award. There will also be a cash bar.
The festival itself will start off with the Taste of Italy Wine Tasting and Reception on September 26. In addition to excellent wine and food, guests will be entertained by the music of Tony Lastella and the Goombas. The cost to attend is $50 per ticket.
The next day will be filled with all sorts of family-friendly activities. There will be cooking demonstrations, an appearance by Chef Nick Stellino, a grape stomping competition and a car show. There is also set to be a food court and a vendor's market. The Kids' Courtyard will have an Italian dog show, a bouncy castle and hands-on activities. Raffle tickets to win a trip to Italy are $5 each and only 1,000 will be sold.
