The 52nd annual Heather Tartan Ball is taking place next month in Seattle.
The event is a fundraiser for the 71st Pacific Northwest Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering, which will take place on July of 2017 for two days.
There will be lots of entertainment taking place that should please everyone who attends, which will include pipe band performances, massed bands (which includes military members) and Scottish country dancing. A silent auction will have plenty of attractive gifts to win. There will also be music by Bottlerockit, and the event will finish off with the singing of ‘Auld Lang Syne’.
Meat pies will be available for purchase and there will be a cash bar, while organizers are still accepting donations for the auction.
The Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering features heavy athletics such as tossing the caber, performances by military bands, Celtic arts showcases, and a Celtic marketplace. It attracts thousands of people to the area from all over the world.
In order to advertise this event in Seattle, organizers may distribute Flyers throughout the community by mail.
The Heather Tartan Ball will be held at the Seattle Latvian Cultural Center on November 5 from 6:00 to 11:30 PM. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, and the event is restricted to those aged 21 and over. Call 206-522-2541 to learn more.
