Upcoming fundraisers to help improve lives

The city of Kent will be the location of two fundraisers next month that, each in its own way, will help to improve the lives of people in the community.

The first will be the Rhinestone Cowboy gala which is a fundraiser for the Kent Downtown Partnership. Guests will enjoy dinner, with wine and champagne. There will also be games and silent and live auctions. Proceeds will go to fund various Kent Downtown Partnership programs and events. Tickets are $85 per person and tables for eight are available.

The next week will feature the Project Feast Pop-Up Fundraiser. All proceeds will be donated to Project Feast. Guests will enjoy craft beer, chicken tinga (a Mexican dish),and tortillas. Project Feast is an organization that helps refugees and recent immigrants find employment within the food industry. It also supports intercultural exchange events in Kent. Guests are expected to spend a minimum of $10.

Kent printing services companies often help advertise events like these by providing printed products such as flyers.
