What's Happening in Kent, WA…

Popular Mexican group coming to Kent

An award-winning group with over 20 albums to their credit are coming to Kent.

The brothers Gustavo and Adolfo Angel, along with Fernando Angel, their cousin, formed Los Temerarios in 1977 in Popotes, Jalisco, Mexico. Since their foundation, they have released more than 20 studio albums and won multiple awards. The honors include one Latin Grammy award, two Grammy award nominations, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Latin Billboard Music Awards, and an Excellence Award from Premio Lo Nuestro. They were inducted into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2016.

The Latin Grammy Awards were inaugurated in 2000, at which time Los Temerarios won the “best Mexican-American album” award. The Lifetime Achievement Award from Premio Lo Nuestro came in 2005, an honor granted to only the brightest stars in Latin music.

Their recording career began in 1981, when they were known as Conjunto Las Brisas, and recorded two 45 records. Their most recent album is 2023’s “La Colección.” A concert review says:

“. . . this audience go[es] absolutely wild when the lights fade to black and this fantastic rock act take to the stage picking up their guitars and having the best time rocking out.”

Their current tour, according to the group, is their last. They will appear November 15 at the Accesso Showare Center in Kent. When organizers plan events like this, they may work with a printer who can use poster printing to create advertising for the show.
