Camera show coming up in Kent
A show scheduled for Kent should have all photography enthusiasts excited.
The Puget Sound Photographic Collector Society (PSPCS) is organizing their 47th Spring Camera and Photography Show and Sale. This is a mammoth camera-related and photography sale that will have more than 100 vendors on hand, with tables filled with merchandise.
The PSPCS was established in 1979 and is devoted to learning about and understanding the area’s photographic past, which includes collecting and preserving classic and antique cameras along with accessories, lenses, and images.
In addition to an opportunity to buy cameras and related items, experts will hold small workshops, and tables will be set up where collectors can display historical cameras, and any history related to them. Anyone who would enjoy sharing their collection is encouraged to do so, as these tables are free. Tickets will be sold at the event only, but those who would like to enter early may do so for $15, which allows entry from 8.30 am until 9.59 am. After 10.00 am, tickets are $5.00. Organizers of events like this often request poster printing be used to create advertising for them.
The show is open to attendees of all ages, and will take place on a single day, April 5, from 8.30 am until 2.00 pm. Doors will open at 7.00 am, and the venue is the Kent Commons Community Center at 525 4th Avenue North in Kent. Parking at the venue is free.
