What's Happening in Kent, WA…

Popular event back in Kent

An event that has proved to be popular with everyone is returning to Kent.

The Kent Downtown Partnership is the host of an upcoming Wine Walk, one of several held during the year. The upcoming event will focus on the wines appropriate to the cooler months, featuring crisp whites and reds. Businesses in the downtown area will be participating in the walk, some of them offering tastings of local wines.

The event is perfect for dates or friend groups who would like to explore the city, as well as discover new wines. There will be live entertainment as well, and bottles will be available for purchase without tax during this event. Restaurants and shops will remain open to the public during the duration of the walk.

Entertainment will be provided by Billy Brandt Music. Brandt is a composer, guitarist, and vocalist now based in the Pacific Northwest, who frequently plays in and around Seattle. He has been described as a storyteller in the Tom Waits tradition, though more nuanced. His most recent album is 2019’s “City Noir.”

The event is limited to those 21 years of age and older, and a ticket is required for wine tasting. Ticket purchases go to support this and similar downtown Kent programs and events. Tickets include a program guide, wristband, disposable glass (attendees are encouraged to bring their own), and 10 tastings.

Program guides for events like this can be created when event sponsors use brochure printing to create the material.
