What's Happening in Kent, WA…

Kent workshop gives trip-planning lowdown

An upcoming workshop in Kent will give participants the knowledge they need to plan their dream trip.

Jags is the organizer of an upcoming three-day workshop about how people can become nomads, take the trip of a lifetime, or live entirely on the road. Jags promises her tips will make such an adventure possible. She notes that she will not be creating detailed itineraries for participants, but instead teaching them her method for planning a trip, no matter whether the plan is to travel for weeks, months, or years.

Jags differentiates between those who want to take a vacation—even a long one—from nomads, who are willing to wander without settling down. The benefits of people being nomadic include being able to visit only those sites they want to visit and having the experiences they have always dreamed about.

At the workshop, participants will learn how to plan their adventure while learning about the nomadic lifestyle, including how to remain employed while traveling.

The three-day event is structured with the first day being devoted to planning the trip. The second day, participants will learn the tricks of living on the road, and the final day will explore whether the lifestyle will work for them and if they will like it.

The workshop for Kent participants is being held over Zoom on April 12, 13, and 14, from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Organizers of events like this can use graphic design to create attractive backgrounds.
