Kent to get crawling
The 2021 Kent Crawl 2.1K is scheduled for June as a self-guided event. Friends and families can walk, jog or run through the historic downtown area and the Kent Station over a two-week period.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Kent Downtown Partnership future programming. Kent Station is acknowledged as a valuable sponsor by the organizers.
The route will take walkers and runners to participating businesses to get special event discount coupons to be used on the same day, or to return at a later time.
Interested persons may purchase a ticket online. A map route will be mailed to each person participating on June 2. The 2.1K route may be completed any time from June 3 until June 17. The cost is $20 which includes a custom hat or $10 without the hat. Hats may be picked up at the Road Runner Sports store located at Kent Station between June 1 to 17.
Banners are ideal for signage that needs to be bold and easily seen. Banner printing is often ordered from local print shops for use in outdoor races and walking events. They can highlight certain areas, directional information and special offers. They are also used at start and finish lines.
